Rummage sale results

People are telling us we should hire out as rain makers. Every Saturday this month it has either blizzarded, snowed or rained, and we had a rummage sale on each one! So our friends are telling us we should hire out to places that are having a drought and hold rummage sales there!
Maybe that's our new career path . . . . Anyhow, we had the last sale today. We woke up to a couple of inches of thick, wet snow. The daffodils were frozen in their glory, poor things. The garage was filled with stuff to sell and prices were reduced for quick sale. We put signs on the doors to get people inside so we wouldn't freeze. Ron put out the signs and then we waited . . . and waited . . . finally things picked up by mid-morning, and we were pretty well cleaned out by the end of the day! We only have one table of stuff left which we'll probably donate somewhere, and this green furniture set - let us know if you want it! I'll have to put up for sale signs throughout town and maybe put them on Craig's list. We celebrated the end of the sales by going out to the Dew Drop Inn for a hamburger and sundae. We are so ready for spring! So now we are going to empty out the house and get stuff ready for storage. Stay tuned for what's next - we don't even know for sure!
