After a wet ride the clouds parted just long enough to get our tents up. Then we piled into the school busses to the steamship replica for an evening cruise up the river in the rain. What a fantastic place, with river bluffs towering several hundred feet above. Then today we walked around LaCrescent and I bought tent waterproofer so I don't get lakes again around my air mattress. After the storm last night I felt like I was perched on an island in the ocean! So maybe we'l.l see the sun tomorrow during the day, I hope.
