Sunday Day 10 – Deadwood to Rochford

We left Deadwood relatively late today – had to stop at Chucky Chipmunk Chocolates on the edge of town. They were closed (unfortunately) but (fortunately) they had a chocolate truffle vending machine! So we mugged for the camera with the vending machine and then Chucky himself. To do this I put my camera on the bike seat which has a hole in its middle and just cradles the camera very well. Then I caught the ladies as they passed the only hollyhock on the trail, just like the cameras at Disneyland rides. It was a beautiful ride through the hills. I caught the girls resting a bit. After visiting Rochford’s little store called “The Small of America” and listening to the music outside the Moonshine Gulch Saloon we came back to camp and lit a fire to roast hot dogs and make smores. Another gorgeous day on the trail! It was approximately 19 miles today.
